The
following are some questions that Wylie Fence &
Deck Company commonly receives. If you have a question
that isn't covered below, please feel free to contact
us.
Q:
How long does it take to build a fence?
A:
The average fence takes 5 to 7 days to complete. This
includes the time required to have underground cables
located before digging and concrete drying time between
phases of construction.
Q:
What is involved in the fence construction process?
A:
There are three major phases of fence construction.
Phase one of construction will be the locating and marking
of underground utilities (as required by law). Phase
two consists of removing the existing fence and setting
the new posts in concrete. Phase three of construction
is the actual nailing of the pickets.
Q:
What payment options are available?
A:
Balance is due upon completion. We accept cash, checks,
Master Card, and Visa. In order to maintain our competitive
pricing we do not offer financing.
Q:
Can I receive a phone, fax, or email quote?
A:
We apologize for not offering this service, but we feel
the purchase of a fence, deck, or shade structure is
a large purchase and should be discussed face to face.
We offer afternoon, evening, and Saturday appointments
for your convenience.
Q:
What is the Warranty?
A:
Our work carries a 5-year guarantee on labor and materials on new fence construction. We also offer a 3 year warranty on automatic gates, and a 1 year warranty on all repair work.
Q:
Why is full coverage insurance important?
A:
Our employees are fully covered by an On The Job Accident
policy. Our General Liability insurance would cover
any unfortunate accidents. Both of these would eliminate
the need for your Homeowner's Policy, which has specific
dollar limitations.
